Visit Keukenhof | Spring is in the Air
If flowers are something that interest you then a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens in Holland is highly recommended, it’s a unique and unforgettable experience! This year, there are more than 7 million bulbs in bloom including almost 800 varieties of tulips.
The park is spread out over 32 hectares and there is a wonderful choice of inspirational gardens, spectacular flower shows, unique mosaics, artworks and events. One of the highlights is the Tulpomania exhibition which you will find located in the Juliana Pavilion.
“Dutch Design” is the theme for this year’s park which characterises a combination of Dutch sobriety and innovative solutions.
The inspirational works of Mondriaan and Rietveld at the turn of the 20th Century helped lay the foundations of Dutch design. Even in this modern time, Dutch design is appreciated worldwide and is still considered to be industry leading in artistic areas such as fashion, graphic design, architecture and furniture design.
Keukenhof is a great place for kids too with an intriguing treasure hunt, a petting farm, maze and a super fun playground.
This year Keukenhof is open from 23rd March until 21st May 2017. The park is 40km South West of Amsterdam and 20km North East of Leiden
