Travel from Harwich to the Hook of Holland with your pet in 2017 with Stena Line

Travel to Holland with your Faithful Four Legged Friend

2017-01-05 | Family travel | No comments

We all deserve a break from time to time and that even includes your old faithful four legged friends.   Stena Line are a pet friendly ferry company allowing you to bring your trusty pet onboard our ferries to Holland.  Before you decide to book your trip and travel with us, let us tell you all the information you need to know so you and your pet will have peace of mind and have a healthy and safe trip away.

There are two ways your pet can travel onboard, either in your vehicle for the crossing or, there are specially designed onboard kennels (subject to availability and depending on the vessel) that you can pre-booked online.  One piece of information that you might need to remember is that certain dogs breeds are more sensitive to poor air circulation and heat in vehicles, therefore we would advise pet owners to take extra precautions and if possible to use our kennel facilities where available.

We at Stena Line are proud to have signed up to the Guide Dog Travel Charter.  This is a code of ethics relating to the treatment of Guide Dogs and their owners by the travel industry. Guide dogs, in accordance with the charter, are entitled to travel for free and they also have full access to all passenger decks on all Stena Line routes and vessels!
