The best bet for beachside value, Kustpark, in Egmond Aan Zee is super-clean and good value. Accommodation is in pre-pitched tents or chalets with sun terraces, garden furniture and dishwashers. The wide beach runs for miles with sandy bottomed shallow areas for swimming, with a nearby cycle track which meanders through the dunes behind. The Hook of Holland is 90 minutes by car.
