Keukenhof flower festival on the ferry to Holland

Ferry good idea 1: Put a little spring in your step at Keukenhof

Holland | No comments

For a trip with extra added flower power, why not take the ferry to Holland and stop by Keukenhof, the world’s biggest flower festival?

Our top tip:

At the festival, be sure to bag a table on the terrace of one of their five restaurants (our favourite is Wilhelmina Pavilion) for blooming marvellous views of the tulips as you tuck into classic Dutch fare, including hearty spinach mash, old Amsterdam cheese and zingy Dutch strawberries with whipped cream.

How to get there:

Keukenhof is open every day from 8am to 7.30pm until 20th May.
