Home of Vermeer, Dutch pottery and delicious high teas: Discover Delft with Stena Line
Say ‘Delft‘ and most people think of the Dutch blue and white pottery. But this little known city, which sits between The Hague and Rotterdam, is as pretty as the pottery to which it gave its name and well worth a visit.
Delft is also the birthplace of the famous painter Vermeer and no visit to the city would be complete without a stop by the Vermeer Centre. Feeling hungry? Why not hire a canal boat and sail through the city for high tea?
You can travel by train to Delft using Stena Line‘s rail and sail ticket to Holland, which includes your return train travel from London Liverpool St or any Greater Anglia Network Rail station to Harwich port, your crossings on the ferry to Holland, as well as your return onward train journey to any Dutch station.
