Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague reopens

After a huge two year renovation, the Mauritshuis Museum of The Hague is reopening on 27 June. Home of masterpieces such as Vermeer’s  Girl with a Pearl Earring, Carel Fabritius’ The Goldfinch and  Rembrandt’s Anatomy Lessonthe museum has doubled in size with the addition of the brand new Royal Dutch Shell Wing.

Visitors can take a virtual tour throughout the Museum via the brand new website and the opening exhibition will tell the story of this historic building and its occupants.

To celebrate this landmark renovation, following a reopening ceremony on the afternoon of Friday 27 June, the museum is offering free admission from 8pm until midnight.
