Hidden Holland: Giethoorn
Holland | No comments
Giethoorn is a village in the Dutch province of Overijssel.
Known in the Netherlands as “Venice of the North“, it is famous for its ‘carless’ roads. In the old part of the village there is only a cycling path, and all transport was done via water over one of the many canals.
Travel to Giethoorn with Stena Line‘s twice daily crossings from Harwich to Hook of Holland.
